UC San Diego’s Transportation Research and Education for Driving Safety (TREDS) Center is committed to preventing crash-related morbidity and mortality by improving safe driving behaviors. TREDS offers two courses that aim to prevent commercial motor vehicle-involved crashes resulting from distracted and substance-impaired driving, and partners with California Trucking Association to make courses available to the commercial motor vehicle industry.
Train-the-Trainer programs are available for safety professionals, as well as online learning for drivers. Courses are approximately 60-minutes in length and available in both English and Spanish.
