SENSITIVITY TRAINING FOR SUPERVISORS: Prevention of Harassment in the Workplace **This seminar satisfies state-mandated training requirements for supervisors**
Did you know? Companies with a workforce of 50 or more employees (includes contractors and employees working in other states) are required to provide two hours of harassment prevention training to all of their supervisory employees by January 1, 2006. Those hired after July 1, 2005, must be trained six months after hire. After January 2006, employers must ensure that all supervisors receive follow-up training at least every two years. Failure to provide such training will weaken an employer’s ability to establish an effective defense to harassment litigation in California.
Don’t be a part of the problem—be a part of the solution! Sign up for CTA’s Sensitivity Training seminar now and save yourself costly headaches in the future. This training is to meet the ongoing compliance requirements regarding the prevention of workplace harassment, passed into law on January 1, 2005 under the provisions contained in AB 1825 (Reyes).
