
At the 2012 Annual Management Conference in La Quinta, CA, the California Trucking Association announced a partnership with
Truckers Against Trafficking in an effort to stop human trafficking.

“At the California Trucking Association we say that 'Safety is our priority' and that priority drives our members to combat the evils of human trafficking,” said Michael Campbell, Executive Vice President and CEO for the California Trucking Association. “Truckers are the heart and soul of our nation, so the choice to join forces with Truckers Against Trafficking was a natural one for our members."

Truckers Against Trafficking, “We're very excited to see the largest state trucking association support this work and believe the California trucking industry will do much to put a dent in domestic sex trafficking."
As a part of efforts to fight human trafficking in and around the trucking industry, CTA will distribute human trafficking DVDs for companies to use as a part of driver training, orientation and safety programs. Additionally, dozens of wallet cards that will inform and equip truckers to stop human trafficking and save lives.
