The California Trucking Association is committed to advocating policies that promote the welfare of the trucking industry in California.

Grassroots advocacy plays an integral part in helping elected leaders better understand the trucking industry. Your voice is essential. As a member of the California Trucking Association, your involvement as a Kingpin is critical in educating elected officials.

The Kingpin Program is designed as a grassroots advocacy effort that will allow you to respond to political issues facing your business as they arise.

Something as simple as sending a letter or placing a phone call when a “Call to Action” is issued goes a long way when trying to influence a legislator on behalf of the trucking industry. Contact from a constituent heightens interest in an issue unlike anything else and can make all the difference. Policymakers want to hear from you when voting on issues that will impact your business and your ability to move goods in California.
