Concerned Americans for Responsible Government PAC (CARGO PAC) was created to provide the trucking industry with the muscle to influence elections and help elect candidates who have significant influence over policies that impact trucking.
Dear Trucking Professional:
Since 1972, CARGO-PAC has been working to protect your business by educating legislators about the trucking industry.
We need legislators who will fight to protect your business from unfair regulations, detrimental changes to workers’ compensation reform, and other anti-business legislation. By contributing to CARGO-PAC, you are fighting to protect your business and the industry as a whole.
CARGO-PAC exists so that the California trucking industry would have an impact on political campaigns and influence who is elected to office in California. The decision of whether to support a candidate is based on developing support for a better business climate for the California trucking industry.
Please help by selecting one of the four CARGO-PAC Program Level Sponsorships.
With 2012 elections projected to break all kinds of spending records your support TODAY counts more than ever!
Sincerely,
Michael Shaw
Vice President of External Affairs
JOIN TODAY!
When does $200 a year change an election? When California Trucking Association members join the Truck Unit PAC and give $200 each year to help elect trucking-friendly legislators.
Truck Unit PAC is a small-contributor committee that is allowed to collect contributions from CTA members up to a maximum of $200 per year. Unlike a traditional PAC that are limited to $3,900 per candidate per election, small contributor committees may contribute up $7,800 per candidate per election making Truck Unit PAC a very potent force for any candidate seeking election.
Truck Unit PAC is a simple, easy and affordable option to join with your fellow members in supporting candidates who have strong influence over policies impacting the trucking industry.
